Son nom officiel est la<strong> Pr\u00e9sentation du Christ au Temple<\/strong>. C\u2019est la <strong>f\u00eate de la lumi\u00e8re<\/strong> qui termine le temps de No\u00ebl. L&rsquo; Evangile rappelle que 40 jours apr\u00e8s No\u00ebl, Marie et Joseph pr\u00e9sentent J\u00e9sus au Temple de J\u00e9rusalem (dans la tradition juive, tous les enfants y \u00e9taient pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s apr\u00e8s leur naissance). Dans le Temple, vivait le proph\u00e8te Sim\u00e9on qui sait que ce n\u2019est pas un enfant comme les autres.
